Care for What He Gives

Journey Through the Nemenhah Sacred Records Lesson 11 When the Land Began to Suffer What Creation Reveals About the Human Heart (Spoken Narration — Do Not Sing) Come closer... Welcome back to Journey Through the Nemenhah Sacred Records. I'm Talking Feather. Today Hahgmehni teaches us something I almost missed the first time I read it. He begins talking about... the land. At first I wondered, "Why spend so much time describing trees, rivers, and mountains?" Then I read it again. And I realized... he wasn't really writing about trees. He was writing about people. As the people drifted away from the Peacemaker... something else began to change. The forests disappeared. The rivers suffered. The beauty of the land slowly faded. Hahgmehni wanted us to see something profound. The condition of the land reflected the condition of the people's hearts. When gratitude is replaced by greed... stewardship is replaced by exploitation. When we forget the Creator... we often forget to care for His Creation. That made me stop and think. The Lord has placed many gifts into our hands. Our families. Our homes. Our time. Our talents. Even the earth beneath our feet. Perhaps stewardship begins with one simple question... Am I caring for God's gifts the way He intended? Thank you for walking this path with me. Next time... we'll watch Hahgmehni show us how a faithful people responded by building a place where they could worship, heal, and draw closer to the Peacemaker. Until then... keep reading the Record... and keep listening for His voice. 🎵 Closing Song (20–30 Seconds) Care for What He Gives Every tree... Every stream... Speaks the Maker's name. Every gift... Every breath... Calls our hearts the same. Walk with Him... Guard His peace... Live with thankful hands. Love the Giver... Love His gifts... And bless the promised land.
