entropy
[Verse 1] Yeahโฆ I walk through the valley of the shadow of static, Ash in the lungs, every headline cinematic, Civilization fossilized inside the algorithm, Life in a livestream while the markets chant hymns. Dow Jones dancing while the coastlines disappear, Children learn fear from the pixels in the mirror, TikTok prophets in a dopamine cathedral, Everybody plugged in but nobody feel people. Entropy creeping through the cracks in the concrete, Ghosts in the data streams whisper in defeat, Malthus at the dinner table carving up the ration, Nihilism trending like a luxury fashion. I seen Atlas shrug under surveillance drones, Seen Babylon rebuilt from silicon and bones, Seen empires die from excessive self reference, Whole world buffering, corrupted in the self reverence. Iโm pacing through the alleyways quoting Camu, Black rain falling on the forgotten statues, Police lights flicker like a cyberpunk requiem, A neon crucifix hanging over delirium. Every prophet got monetized trauma, Every revolution sponsored by Prada, Every outrage cycle shorter than attention, Everybody screaming but nobody mention The icecaps melt while billionaires race orbit, Jeffersonโs ghost probably sick from his twenty dollar portrait, We turned rebellion into curated aesthetics, Che Guevara sold on overpriced vintage athletic. The machine keep feeding off collective despair, Ads in the bloodstream, smoke in the air, I hear the planet cough through the rattling thunder, Mother Earth buried in micro plastics and wonder. [Chorus] Entropyโฆ Everything collapse eventually, Skyscrapers sway like my anxiety, Whole world drift toward entropy. Decay in the circuitry, Souls sold for publicity, Fast life, slow death symmetry, Everybody bow to entropy. [Verse 2] Doom scroll flicker like faulty electricity, Tweeting the apocalyptic scripture with velocity, I got Kafka in the backpack next to broken amphetamines, Dreams dissolve quicker than dominant genes. Late-stage capitalism dripping from the billboards, Workers getting swallowed by the digital kill force, Amazon gods in Olympian logistics, Human beings reduced down to statistics. Freud on the nightstand, Jung in the ashtray, Nietzsche in the bloodstream screaming โGod passed away,โ But the vacuum got filled with celebrity obsession, Now influencers sell enlightenment subscriptions. Itโs elegant decay, baroque annihilation, Marie Antoinette vibes at the climate migration, Silicon Valley building bunkers in New Zealand, While the middle class drown in inflationary sand. I move through the city like Deckard in the rainfall, Blade Runner skyline, humanity withdrawn, Street preacher yelling revelations by the subway, Teenagers numb from the serotonin buffet. Cops armed heavy like postwar dictators, Kids learn history from conspiracy creators, Libraries empty while the servers overflow, Knowledge get buried under spectacle overload. I hear Marvin Gaye asking whatโs going on, But the answer got censored for the advertiser songs, Black mirror glow illuminate insomnia, Nuclear tension hanging over Eurasia. We traded community for curated identity, Infinite content but no intimacy, Every swipe another fragment of the psyche, Everybody searching but the void move closer slightly. [Chorus] Entropyโฆ Everything collapse eventually, Skyscrapers sway like my anxiety, Whole world drift toward entropy. Decay in the circuitry, Souls sold for publicity, Fast life, slow death symmetry, Everybody bow to entropy. [Verse 3] Now the oceans rise like biblical revenge, While politicians grin through the dividends, Caesar in a necktie, Nero with a podcast, Playing violins while the futures turn to ash. Iโm writing doomsday poetry in abandoned train stations, Watching moral frameworks collapse from sedation, Everybody got opinions, nobody got wisdom, Truth fragmented into profits in this broken system. Fast paceโฆ Runaway civilization, no brakes, DNA edited while the soul deteriorates, Children of the internet raised by engagement, Living in a labyrinth of curated enslavement. Michel Foucault probably laugh at the timeline, Panopticon perfected through being online, Every camera lens another digital warden, Every search term feed the invisible organs. I spit with the panic of a preacher in the blackout, Last cigarette glow when the generators tap out, Moonlight reflecting off riot gear helmets, Humanity circling the drain and we are helpless. But maybe thatโs the poetry hidden in destruction, Stars collapse too, thatโs cosmic instruction, Supernovas bloom from catastrophic pressure, Maybe beautyโs only born through a refreshโฆ or [outro] I hear the subway sing in the midnight, Hear lovers laughing beneath streetlights, Hear jazz leaking out a Harlem apartment, Hear hope surviving in the poorest compartments. So I keep writing through the static and corrosion, Through collapsing systems and emotional erosion, Cause even in decay thereโs rhythm in the fracture, Human hearts still beating after every disaster
