O Jehovah O Jehovah... My God, protect me from beauty When it is only the devil's mask Illuminating me with your torch Elusive... O Jehovah... My God, keep me from the kind ones Those who are nothing but smiles Their teeth show their appetite Which tears us apart... O Jehovah... My God, my God, Do not forget it This ancient pebble That you saved My God, confound the religions Bureaucracies of your belief That drench our regions in blood With their revenges O Jehovah... My God, keep me from those fools Who invoke you in a simulation Who make you the god of wolves And of massacres O Jehovah... My God, do not let Satan Test us with his harsh reign The one Job knew at the time Of his torture O Jehovah... My God, blind the idols In their machinery And their images That seduce and coax us Into slavery O Jehovah... O Jehovah...
