[Verse] Teacups stacked like a sugar dream Cookies piled high with a buttery gleam The monster’s here in his crumb-covered vest Sipping his tea like a proper guest [Chorus] Oh cookie monster Pass the tray With crumbs and laughter We’ll spend the day Tea in our cups Cookies galore This party’s sweeter than ever before [Verse 2] A sprinkle of chaos A dash of cream The table's wobbling It’s a balancing beam He dunks his cookie It takes a dive The teapot’s whistling It’s alive [Chorus] Oh cookie monster Pass the tray With crumbs and laughter We’ll spend the day Tea in our cups Cookies galore This party’s sweeter than ever before [Bridge] A chocolate chip lands on the floor The monster grins He’s ready for more The kettle sings A biscuit flies Tea party madness No surprise [Chorus] Oh cookie monster Pass the tray With crumbs and laughter We’ll spend the day Tea in our cups Cookies galore This party’s sweeter than ever before
