Black Raven (Leonid Latynin)

///*****/// [Intro] [Verse1] Black raven, do not circle over me, Cast your spell, sorceress, cast your spell. Protect me from misfortune, sorceress, From slander, from the enemy’s dark blame. [Chorus] Cast your spell, sorceress, cast your spell, So I may hide from sickness in the rye, So the one to whom I opened up my soul Will not leave me, will not go, will not betray. [Break] [Verse2] Poor bird, wingless bird, Mugai, Scatter all my sorrows with your eye. All my cares, all longings, all my deeds Do not leave without your tireless wing. [Chorus] Cast your spell, sorceress, cast your spell, So I may hide from sickness in the rye, So the one to whom I opened up my soul Will not leave me, will not go, will not betray. [Instrumental] [Verse4] So that each one, waking or in dream, May find where his deepest guilt is forgiven. And when I die, do not grieve too long... Cast your spell, sorceress, cast your spell. [Chorus] Cast your spell, sorceress, cast your spell, So I may hide from sickness in the rye, So the one to whom I opened up my soul Will not leave me, will not go, will not betray. [Outro] [End]
