[Intro] (Check it) Yeah... Did you think I was gone for good? Nah, I was just getting my rhythm back. Listen. [Verse 1] I spent too long living in the shade Thinking 'bout the promises and plans we made But I stepped outside and the sun is bright I found my flavor, found my light Now I’m walking with a different kind of strut Keeping all the doors open, none of them shut I’m a brand new man with a brand new view And I’m officially over you. [Chorus] The return of the man, yeah I’m back in the game Single and I’m moving, I’m lighting the flame The phone’s been blowing up, yeah it’s ringing off the hook Better check the status, come and take another look I’m back (He’s back), yeah I’m back baby I’m back (He’s back), and it’s feeling so crazy [Verse 2] Every time I look down at the screen It’s a new notification, if you know what I mean They’re calling from the north, they’re calling from the south My name is the only word in everybody’s mouth It’s hard to keep up, yeah I’m losing my breath But I’m loving every minute, putting rumors to rest I was down for a second, but I’m up for the ride Got that 90s energy bubbling inside. [Bridge] (You lied to me) But I’m doing just fine. (You cried to me) But I’m taking what’s mine. The comeback is real, can you feel the heat? I’m the king of the rhythm, I’m the soul of the beat. [Chorus] The return of the man, yeah I’m back in the game Single and I’m moving, I’m lighting the flame The phone’s been blowing up, yeah it’s ringing off the hook Better check the status, come and take another look I’m back (He’s back), yeah I’m back baby I’m back (He’s back), and it’s feeling so crazy [Outro] Yeah... My phone is vibrating again. Hang on, let me see who this is... Actually, let it ring. I’m too busy being back. (He’s back...) Yeah. [End]
