I don’t know what I am, I don’t know what I know. Everything I thought was solid Just comes and goes. But every time it all falls through, Something still glows inside— Yeah, nothing’s certain But even the doubt is alive. Even the doubt is alive. Another day, same pressure on my chest, Same thoughts looping like it’s some kind of test. “Why’s life doing this to me?” That’s the line in my head— Like there’s a “me” that life could even address. Everybody told me how to live, what to chase, How to fight my demons, how to “find my place.” But the more that I try to be who they say, The more it feels like I’m wearing someone else’s face. So I’m asking— Who’s the one behind these fears? Who’s the one reacting to the same damn years? The more I look for the self I defend, The more it fades Like a dream I’m waking from again. I don’t know what I am, I don’t know what I know. Everything I thought was solid Just comes and goes. But every time it all falls through, Something still glows inside— Yeah, nothing’s certain But even the doubt is alive. Even the doubt is alive. All the truths I was given start to sound off-key, Every answer feels like it ain’t meant for me. Chasing “meaning” like it’s something to see, But every time I grab hold, It turns back into empty. Teachers, lovers, all those voices from before— Telling me the world’s outside And I’m something more. But what if there’s no “me” that life is happening for? What if it’s all one wave Breaking on the same shore? So I’m staring at the mind Saying, “Who’s thinking this?” But the question disappears Into the very thing it hits. The knowing collapses— Not a problem to fix, ‘Cause even the collapse Has a pulse in the abyss. No ground, No truth, No one here to prove. But somehow this moment Still moves. Still breathes. Still blooms. Like the silence got nothing to lose. I spent years trying to fix what I thought was broken, Trying to decode every dream, every word unspoken. But the more I chase a meaning I can hold in my hand, The more it slips through my fingers Like it’s all made of sand. All the memories I used to call me keep shifting, Even the pain I resisted feels like it’s lifting. Like the whole idea of “me” was just a story I’m drifting Through— But the current moves without needing my permission. And maybe that’s grace, Or maybe it’s nothing at all. But whatever this is Doesn’t rise or fall. It’s here without a name, Without needing to be known— And somehow that unknown Still feels like home. I don’t know what I am, I don’t know what I know. Every time I try to hold it It lets me go. And the fall don’t feel like dying, It feels like being alive— Yeah, nothing’s certain But even the nothing survives. Even the nothing is alive. Even the nothing… is alive.
