All my life I've embraced this gift to write an unspoken word hoping to be heard beyond the bond of the third person ever since the events that recompensed verse one I wanted some attention that couldn't and wouldn't come from anywhere this dimension I wanted, I'm mean I taunted intervention just to mention this before an audience of just one listener I wanted to hold you prisoner and be your only visitor for decades and read you page after page until the day becomes night lather, rinse and repeat until sunlight returns my tongue yearns to talk and never halt on the paper my labor is a waltz of words I preserve, preferred to be displayed in a way that it was made so only you could see it if no one else would, so be it popular wasn't what was I intended I just meant it to be authentic pure scented with the fragrance of my patience almost forty years of my tears being pressed into ink each line linked, distinct with poetic phonetics embedded I only did it so you would be sure I said it when you read it Jah you know where this is headed everyday I pray you let it pass your pupils it's from one of your pupils, youthful and full of usefulness at the root of this, the truth is this more than I want you to read this more than I want you to believe this what my heart bleeds is this the poem is about me wanting you to see how badly I just want to know who you are beyond the faintest acquaintance of Jah Yahweh, Elohim and Jehovah I know what I mean is really extreme but I really want to know "ya" not in song or verse not in the temple or church but in my heart like dirt is in the earth my soul thirsts for the Living God the Ancient of Days deep in the basement of my praise my worship displays in every way your fruit only produce that you can produce your Spirit, your Truth triumphs Lion of Judah you the only God I'll ever serve ever love did I say ever serve? ever love? my heart floods the papyrus each iris is swollen shut as I strut in faith what will it take for me to do exceeding and abundantly above all you have ever asked or thought possible of me? with you is where I want to be beyond forever, until never, beyond eternity what your heart yearns, concerns me greatly I love how you made me I love how you displayed me thank you for how you laid me beside still waters I love to obey your orders I hope to be your biggest supporter and live your gospel and make heaven on earth possible not just probable and like the apostles leave something behind more colossal than fossils but empty graves resurrected in your perfected day in every way I desire to portray your image without blemish never timid never gimmicks I hope my faith exceeds the limits and when I try to stop writing this poem you'll tell me I'm not finished because this voyage is endless so run on sentence run lyrics: Joe Moore
