[Intro] Some houses don't fall, they fold where the fault lines fracture, Some smiles hide whole wars behind a face that says, “I’m fine.” .... Yheah... Uh... Yhe... Uh... ... Raplover... [Verse 1] There’s a king in the kitchen with a fist for a crown, Turns a home to a courtroom when the sun goes down, Every threat gets embedded, every breath gets counted, Every “sorry” gets repeated till the meaning gets clouded. Fear in the frame, pain in the paint, A saint on the outside, a storm in the place, She carries the silence, he carries the shame, Both trapped in a cycle that keeps changing names. A bruise ain't a bookmark, don't turn past the page, A scream ain't a secret that belongs in a cage, When control becomes love, that's a counterfeit trade, And the heart pays interest on the debt fear made. The walls got ears but the ears never speak, The floor knows the footsteps, the door knows the grief, Every night leaves a mark that the daylight conceals, But hiding the wound never changes what's real. [Hook] Don't mistake smoke for fog when the ceiling is burning, Don't mistake silence for peace when the whole house is hurting, Love isn't a lock, it ain't fear disguised as trust, If somebody needs courage just to breathe, something's wrong with us. Break the cycle, break the pattern, break the hand-me-down pain, Before yesterday's damage gets inherited again, Every voice matters, every life deserves truth, Stop the wound at the root before it reaches the youth. [Verse 2] Trauma's a tenant that never signs leases, Moves into the mind and rearranges the pieces, Puts clocks in the chest, makes the heartbeat keep secrets, Turns safe little rooms into places of weakness. Scars become maps with the borders erased, Every line tells a story that the mouth can't translate, Shame prints receipts for a debt you don't owe, Then convinces the victim they're the reason it grows. And GBV isn't painted with one gender's face, Violence can wear any mask, any age, any place, Sometimes the shield gets mistaken for the sword in the fight, And a man defending himself can wake up in cuffs that same night. So don't make the survivor carry blame for the flame, Don't make their defense look identical to the pain, Hear the whole story before you hammer the nail, Justice needs truth, not a story told pale. Awareness ain't shouting, it's learning the signs, It's noticing changes behind perfectly timed smiles, It's teaching boundaries early, teaching respect without fear, And becoming the person someone feels safe enough to hear. [Verse 3] A child learns thunder before learning the weather, Learns footsteps, door slams, how to read every gesture, Learns “keep quiet” quicker than “tell me what's wrong,” Then grows up thinking endurance is what makes you strong. That's how the seed gets buried beneath family soil, Fed by excuses, watered by silence and turmoil, Roots twist through generations, gripping everything tight, Till somebody digs deep and drags them into the light. So question the joke when the joke hides a threat, Question the bruise when the answer don't fit, Don't stand like a statue while somebody gets crushed, Be the voice in the hallway when the hallway goes hush. Because prevention starts way before blood hits the floor, In the words that we teach, in the limits we enforce, In boys learning strength isn't measured by fear, In girls knowing “no” doesn't need to become “clear.” [Verse 4] There's a room after trauma where the windows stay shut, Where the past keeps knocking though the lock's been cut, But healing's not forgetting, it's rewriting the route, It's finding your name underneath all the doubt. Let compassion be the crowbar that pries open the door, Let knowledge be the torch when the hallway gets dark, Let respect be the language that the next child inherits, So love isn't something they survive, but something they feel. A scar can be evidence without becoming identity, A past can leave fingerprints without owning your destiny, And pain can be real without becoming your throne, You can carry what happened without carrying it alone. So if someone's drowning, don't lecture from land, Throw something they can hold, reach out with your hand, You don't have to save every wave, every storm, every sea, Sometimes saying “I'm here” is the first key to freedom. [Outro] Yheah... Uh... Some houses remember the violence. Some houses remember the healing. Break the cycle. Before the cycle learns another name. Raplover.
