[Verse 1] The whole world is talkin now of a new day of dawning A new day of dawning’s on its way I just hope that all their talk is not just a warning A storm cloud that could blow us all away [Chorus] Let’s just hope that what they’re sayin isn’t wrong And I sometimes wonder what’s really going on Yeah everybody’s talkin about the new day of dawning If we pull together it won’t be long [Verse 2] There was a man long ago who dreamed about a new world He taught about the way to be free But people closed their hearts and then no one would listen They wanted him to just leave them be [Verse 3] Many more have come and gone and still we don’t listen We close our ears and pretend it’s all okay Yeah everybody’s talkin about the new day of dawning But is this time really on its way [Chorus] Let’s just hope that what they’re sayin isn’t wrong And I sometimes wonder what’s really going on Yeah everybody’s talkin about the new day of dawning If we pull together it won’t be long [Outro] Can you feel the hope of a new day of dawning? Can you feel the brightness of the new day? Yeah everybody’s talkin about the new day of dawning Yell it loud to bring it round our way The whole world is talkin now of a new day of dawning A new day of dawning’s on its way Yeah everybody’s talkin about the new day of dawning Yell it loud to bring it round our way
