I thought surviving would feel louder than this. No victory speech. No sudden light. Just breath. There were nights I disappeared without ever leaving home. Days I wore a normal face and carried everything alone. I thought healing meant forgetting, thought strength meant feeling less. But maybe strength is waking up and choosing one more breath. I kept waiting for a moment when the damage would be gone. But maybe being better doesn't mean becoming untouched. I'm still here. Maybe tired, maybe changed. Still learning how to trust again, still carrying some pain. I'm not fearless. I'm not finished. I don't need to disappear. After everything that tried to break me, I'm still here. Some scars stayed underneath, some names still cross my mind. Some doors still make me hesitate. Some memories take their time. But I laugh a little easier now. I answer when someone calls. And every small thing I return to feels like taking back it all. I don't need to prove I'm healed. I don't need to hide the cracks. Every step that moves me forward is a piece of myself coming back. I'm still here. Maybe slower than before. Still learning which walls protect me and which ones need a door. I'm not fearless. I'm still healing. But I finally understand: survival wasn't where it ended. It was where I learned to stand. If you're listening and all you did today was make it through... that counts. You don't need a miracle tonight. You don't need to know what's next. Stay long enough to meet the person you're becoming. You're still here. Maybe tired, maybe changed. Still carrying what happened, but you're more than what remains. You don't need to be fearless. You don't need to disappear. After everything that tried to erase you, you're still here. No victory speech. No perfect ending. Just breath. And I'm still here.
