[speaking] Are you overwhelmed? There’s so much to do, so many to love. [rap] So much to know, so much to create There is so much that I can do So many need love, they need to be known So many need to be listened to To not be overwhelmed is what I choose For I’m only here to win and not to lose So I get with my Lord Jesus and we talk things over He instructs me how to love like Him, for He’s the Master Lover And when we do all His will, He tell us just what to say, we’re doin' our duty as unprofitable servants, we just listen to Him and obey. There’s only one voice I follow, and it’s not my own Nor all the many voices that are vying for my affection When I turn those down to zero and turn Yours up to 10 Lord. That’s when I come alive and You give me clear direction For. All us sheep we hear Your voice, You lead us every day And You give each one of us a choice to listen and obey You also give eternal life and we will never perish You hold us close because we are Your people whom You deeply cherish So gather all those voices and turn them down to zero, And turn that One voice up to 10 and listen to Your hero If you want to walk with Jesus and stay close to His heart Just learn from His friend, Mary, she chose that good part. And it will not be taken away from her It will not be taken away from you If you choose to simply listen and obey And say, ‘we just did what You instructed us to do. Don’t be overwhelmed with all the opportunities today Just sit at Jesus’ feet, then listen and obey.
