[VERSE 1] They moved in Late last night Never see them In daylight Curtains closed Windows black Hear them scratching Out in back Something howls Something crawls Hear the footsteps Through the walls [PRE-CHORUS] Keep my head down Lock my door Don't wanna know What they're digging for [CHORUS] THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR I don't wanna know What they're looking for THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR Hear 'em creeping Across the floor Stay away Don't come around I know what happens When the sun goes down THE GHOULS! THE GHOULS! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! [VERSE 2] Trash cans shake Half past three Something's staring Back at me Porch light flickers Hear a scream Maybe I'm awake Maybe it's a dream Saw the father Digging holes Saw the mother Carrying bones [PRE-CHORUS] Close the blinds Hit the floor Don't let 'em know I'm watching next door [CHORUS] THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! [BREAKDOWN] DON'T LOOK! DON'T STARE! DON'T LET 'EM KNOW YOU'RE THERE! LOCK UP! LIGHTS OUT! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT SOUND?! [FAST PUNK BREAK] Scratch! Scratch! At the wall! Bang! Bang! Down the hall! Three AM Hear 'em roar I'M MOVING AWAY [FINAL CHORUS] THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR I ain't going near That house anymore THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR Every single night I hear 'em roar Curtains closed Hit the floor DON'T MESS AROUND WITH THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR! THE GHOULS! THE GHOULS! THE GHOULS NEXT DOOR!
