Ahriman is the embodiment of chaos, darkness, and evil in ancient Persian mythology. 
He is the eternal rival of Ahura Mazda, the supreme god of light and goodness. 
A destructive spirit who opposes cosmic order, or asha, 
with his own force, druj (deceit). He creates suffering, death, and chaos 
in an attempt to corrupt and dominate creation. The song is about his part 
in this cosmic struggle, with the chorus being a direct plea to him to end his actions.
