The lighthouse on the ocean shore Has a light that shines so bright Guiding sailors through the dark Helping them find their way at night That beam can travel oh so far Across the restless sea Leading every wandering heart Back home where they should be Through the waves and through the storm There’s a light to lead us on Let your light shine, let it glow For the world is watching, don’t you know Every word and every deed Shows His love to those in need Let your light shine, clear and bright Like a beacon in the night So all may see, and hearts align To glorify His name divine Jesus said to all of us “Be a light for all to see” But what is shining from within? It’s His love in you and me When we speak with gentle words When we choose to care We reflect His perfect love To everyone, everywhere In our actions, in our ways We reveal His grace each day Let your light shine, let it glow For the world is watching, don’t you know Every word and every deed Shows His love to those in need Let your light shine, clear and bright Like a beacon in the night So all may see, and hearts align To glorify His name divine When we’re kind and when we give That’s His Spirit as we live Every smile, every care Shows that God is always there Through our lives His love is known We don’t ever shine alone Let it shine… let it shine… Through your heart, His love will shine… Let your light shine, strong and true Let His love shine out through you So the world can clearly see All His grace and majesty Let your light shine every day In all you do and all you say That they may see your deeds so bright And praise the Father in His light Like a lighthouse in the night… Be His love, be His light…
