Act 3 scene 19 -Why do you look for the living? (Remastered)
[WOMAN – fast-paced, alert, breathless but strong] We came at dawn, no crowd, no sound Spices in hand, eyes on the ground But the stone was moved, the guards were gone I froze mid-step—what’s going on? ⸻ [SECOND WOMAN – sharper flow, layered vocal] No footprints, no sign of fight Just an empty tomb bathed in light We looked around, we called His name But all we heard was wind and flame ⸻ [ENSEMBLE – quick call-and-response] Where is He? Did they hide Him? What now? Do we run? ⸻ [ANGEL – deep, smooth male voice, spoken over silence] Why do you look for the living here? He’s not in the place of death, my dear. He walked out. Just like He said. This tomb is empty. He’s not dead. ⸻ [WOMAN – voice rising, belief blooming] He said He’d rise. I heard Him speak. But now it’s real, I feel it deep. This isn’t grief. This is flame. He broke the night. He changed the name. ⸻ [ENSEMBLE – harmonized, joyful rhythm] He’s alive! He’s awake! He’s not gone— He’s remade! ⸻ [FINAL LINE – WOMAN, strong and sure] I came in tears. I leave in fire. He’s not behind me— He’s rising higher
