[Verse 1] October’s got the whole town glowing, Pumpkin lights along the street, You’re standing there in that costume, And you’re looking way too sweet. Got your hand wrapped around mine, Like you never wanna let go, I never thought a spooky night Could make my heart beat this slow. [Pre-Chorus] We got the costumes, got the candy, Got nowhere else we need to be, Tonight the moon is shining brighter, ’Cause you’re right here next to me. [Chorus] It’s our first Halloween together, And I don’t wanna miss a thing, Dressed up like we’re made for each other, You’re my queen, I’m your king. Let the ghosts come out tonight, Let the whole world disappear, If I get to spend forever With my favorite girl right here. Baby, this is our first Halloween, And I hope it’s the first of many. [Verse 2] Taking pictures by the pumpkins, Laughing underneath the moon, Everybody says we nailed it, But I’m only looking at you. You steal a piece of my candy, I pretend that I’m upset, But honestly, girl, you could steal Everything I’ve got left. [Pre-Chorus] We’re walking through the haunted houses, You’re holding onto me, You say you’re scared of what’s inside, But you’re all I wanna see. [Bridge] Years from now, when October comes, I’ll remember this night, Our first costumes, our first pictures, Underneath those orange lights. Maybe someday we’ll tell our story, About the night our love began, And I’ll still reach for your hand Like I’m reaching for it now. [Final Chorus] It’s our first Halloween together, And you’re everything I need, No haunted house could ever scare me When you’re right here next to me. Let the pumpkins light the sidewalk, Let the stars fill up the sky, I don’t need a Halloween wish When I already have you by my side. Baby, this is our first Halloween, And I hope it’s the first of many. [Outro] So keep your costume on, baby, Stay close to me tonight… Our first Halloween together, And you’re my favorite sight.
