⚜️Suno & Dragons: Quest for Salvation Book 1 ° The Northern Border ⚜️The story continues: All Parts here: https://suno.com/playlist/f59aa7f2-e96f-4f6a-aee2-2c86502332d9 ⚜️Character Backstory: Seraphina „Finn“ Winter "This is no clean magic, no holy light! It cracks and it burns, but it won't set you right!" ⚜️The Concept: The Feral Surge On the brutal streets of the slums, a young girl is nothing but prey. To survive the lawless alleys, she hand-cut her hair, stole the oversized clothes of a dead boy, and buried her identity under the name "Finn." She became a snarling, territorial street dog, flashing teeth and spitting curses to keep the world at bay. But beneath the layers of soot and stolen fabric lies a volatile curse: a raw, hochexplosive wild magic fueled entirely by her panic, trauma, and sheer, hysterical defiance. Her magic isn't a studied art; it is a violent, static short circuit of violet energy that rips through the air whenever her emotional armor cracks. ⚜️ The Fall: Left in the Silence Her life shifted when a reclusive, eccentric scholar took the "boy" in. For two years, she tasted warmth, ate real bread, and learned to breathe through the burning energy in her veins. As a monument to her fierce, unspoken pride, she saved every copper to honestly buy him a cheap metal ring—a symbol that she was no longer just a thief. That peace was slaughtered on the road to a new city. Ambushed by blades, she didn't cower; she fought savagely by his side. But a desperate dodge threw her over a hidden cliffside. By the time she dragged her bleeding body back up, the ambush was over. The silence was absolute. Her mentor was dead, stripped bare of his dignity. The attackers left only the cheap copper ring, deeming it worthless. To the world, it was trash; to her, it became her entire soul. ⚜️Current State & Motivation Traumatized, entirely alone, and cast into a strange city, she guards her grief behind a double-layered shield: her boyish disguise and a loud, reckless teenage arrogance. She doesn't want pity, she doesn't want help, and she will sooner detonate herself than admit she is afraid. Her fate tangled with Valeska's in a rain-slicked alley. Backed into a corner by local thugs, Finn was ready to trigger a catastrophic magical blast when Valeska stepped out of the tavern, defusing the fight through the sheer, terrifying aura of the grave. Now, Finn tags along with the grim cleric, stubbornly insisting she "doesn't need charity," while her body shivering under wet clothes betrays her. ⚜️This signature item define her journey: The Scratched Copper Ring: Worn constantly on her left hand, this cheap trinket is her spellcasting focus. Every time she channels a spell, she clamps her fist around it, channeling the grief of her loss into sloppy and twitching energy. ------------Lyrics -------------- [Intro] [Low dreamy magical sound pads] [Heavy slow beat starts] [Verse 1] [Muffled dark instrumentation] [Steady heavy beat] Grease on the table, smoke in the air, This city smells of rot and cheap despair. I hold the mug with a trembling hand, Hood pulled low where the shadows land. They think I'm just a street boy, nothing more, With soot on my cheeks to even the score. On my finger, the copper, I turn it slow— And the cold creeps up from the night below. [Verse 2] [Gritty distorted basslines] I still remember how it began, all those years ago, When hunger and frost were the only friends I'd know. A child in the alleys, coat far too thin, Where girls are just prey, right from the begin. So I cut my hair, stole clothes from the dead, Forgot my own name, learned to forget instead. I fought with my elbows, spat and defied, A stray little hound that never complied. [Refrain] [Powerful new-metal explosion] [Heavy rhythmic guitar riffs] [Intense cinematic mastering] This is no clean magic, no holy light! It cracks and it burns, but it won't set you right! It’s ozone in the lungs, static and pain, A wild short circuit driving me insane! I don't need you! I stand on my own! The magic breaks out to protect me alone! [Verse 3] [Atmospheric melodic shift] [Soft orchestral padding] Then he came along. No knight with a shield. Just an old scholar, eccentric and mild. He saw through the dirt, saw past the disguise, And brought the freezing boy out of the ice. Two years in the warmth, two years of bread, A home and a name, and a roof overhead. He taught me to breathe when the energy flares, So my panic won't kill us unawares. With my own saved coin, not stolen, not found, I bought him the ring that he wore safe and sound. [Verse 4] [Frantic harried rhythm] [Build up intensity] On the road to this city, the sky turned to ash. Ambush. Blades. Everything broke in a flash. I fought by his side! I didn't just stare! We would have won, but the cliff caught me there. A fall into the deep, a wet, heavy blow— When I climbed back up, the silence started to grow. They had stripped him bare, no dignity left. Only the cheap copper... survived the theft. [Bridge] [Sudden stop] [heavy church organ solo, magical synth sounds] And today in the fog, the pavement so wet, Three thugs at my collar, a desperate threat. I was ready to blow, to take them to hell— When that heavy tavern door opened and fell. She stepped from the shadows, her Bell swinging slow, She looked at them once—and they had to go. No pity in her eyes, the grave in her voice, She saw through my mask, but left me no choice. [Outro] [Quiet minimalist, magical synth sounds] [Low pulsing drone] [Exhausted flat vocals] Now she sits over there, the book on her knee. She asks no questions. That's just fine by me. I drink my tea, pull my coat tight and near, The wet fabric shows what I hide out of fear. I whisper through the smoke, so she can hear it true: [Spoken, slow, raspy defensive and bitter] "I don't need your help." But she stays. And she knew. [drone flickers and stops] [Silence]
