The Weight of Heavy Load (l.v)

[Verse 1] Walkin' away from fear My body hurts today Still I keep on movin' No, I won't fade away Need some rest, I know But I can't lay me down Got these worn-out shoes Still I'm holdin' ground [Pre-Chorus] I know I'm on this road Carrying this weight If I slow down now I might not find my way [Chorus] Heavy load, heavy load I keep on holdin' on Heavy load, heavy load I won't be lost for long I need rest, but not defeat I got heart, I got feet Heavy load, heavy load I keep on holdin' on [Verse 2] Dust on my sleeves, yeah Sweat on my brow Every scar I got Made me stronger now I hear that doubt callin' From the edge of town But I got a name And I won't bow down [Pre-Chorus] I know I'm on this road Carrying this weight If I slow down now I might not find my way [Chorus] Heavy load, heavy load I keep on holdin' on Heavy load, heavy load I won't be lost for long I need rest, but not defeat I got heart, I got feet Heavy load, heavy load I keep on holdin' on [Bridge] Give me a minute Give me a breath I'm still here standing Ain't met my best yet If the night gets rough And the ground gets cold I can take that hurt I can carry this load [Final Chorus] Heavy load, heavy load I keep on holdin' on Heavy load, heavy load I won't be lost for long I need rest, but not defeat I got heart, I got feet Heavy load, heavy load I keep on holdin' on
