[Verse 1 – soft, distant clean vocals over clean guitar]
I was born in the smoke of a city that learned to burn
The city swallowed its own churches just to watch the heavens turn
We built towers out of blackened bones and called the ruin “light”
Every river that we chained screamed iron into the night
[Pre-chorus – building tension, half-spoken]
We named the machine our only god
Fed it forests, futures, children, blood
And when the East finally answered
You bet it spoke the tongue we handed
[Chorus – explosive, full scream with huge open chords]
Turn the mirror — see the same teeth
Turn the mirror — wearing different grief
We burned the world to prove we’re real
Now the water rises and it knows how we feel
Turn the mirror — turn the mirror —
The beast never left, its correcting all the errors
[Verse 2 – mid-tempo, urgent spoken-sung delivery]
By the time the sky split open, duality cut us in two
The pendulum swung so hard the horizon split right through
What once was guardian became the hunger in disguise
The flooded kingdoms learned to sail beneath a stranger sky
[Bridge – slow, crushing, almost doom-like]
When the rice fields drowned and the old gods fell silent
The dragon forgot its name and conspired in the quiet
They launched ghost ships westward, chasing anything still dry
Extraction now wears different colors — same teeth, same lie
[Final Chorus – layered screams, gang vocals, massive swell]
Turn the mirror — we’re both the wound and the hand
Turn the mirror — neither empire could stand
We taught the world to devour more than it should
Now the water keeps the lesson better than we ever could
[Outro – clean vocals, soft at first, then one last broken scream]
We said the enemy was sent by hell…
It was the story we agreed to tell
But when the flood is about to die
and when the blue sky forgets to lie
The world stripped of it's final Rome
Then we...We’ll just call it home
[Last line – single raw scream, then silence]
…AND WE’LL STILL CALL IT HOME!

…AND WE’LL STILL CALL IT HOME!

…AND WE’LL STILL CALL IT HOOOOOME!
