Would you like some cake? It’s almost as sweet as you I was feeling a bit out of place So I came to taste this fondue This room is filled with so much life People laughing and kids going wild Tomorrow’s Monday and work awaits But today’s just fun without regrets Would you sit here with me for a while And enjoy the simple things of this life Eat cake with me, under party lights Forget about your worries, just for tonight Let’s be careless, let’s just be free Come sit closer, and eat cake with me I don’t do sweets, that’s not my style, But your look’s got me a bit beguiled. I blushed a bit before, when I saw you staring, Now we’re sitting here, with this cake we’re sharing Kids chase balloons, the music’s loud, We’re both just lost in this sweet crowd. Come sit closer girl, no need to think, Karaoke’s on, I think I’ll sing! Eat cake with me, under party lights Forget about your worries, just for tonight Let’s be careless, let’s just be free Come sit closer, and eat cake with me Eat cake with me, under party lights Forget about your worries, just for tonight Let’s be careless, let’s just be free Come sit closer, and eat cake with me Eat this cake with me, let the moment stay, When I saw you girl, you took my breath away. I think we are right where we are meant to be Come on girl, here, share this cake with me. (Come on girl, sit right here) (and just, share this cake with me) (Come on girl, sit right here) (and just, share this cake with me)
