The morning view is sparkling white, a foot of snow lies on the ground, Every branch wears diamond white, in drifts piled up and deep. We pull the sleds and wear our wool, no time to waste inside, with cheeks turned red and rosy bright from chasing in the snow. Jingle, jingle, down the hill! Hear the sleds go past! Building snowmen, brave and still, making memories fast! We spin and glide upon the rink, or the river froze and sealed, The magic of the frosty air is joyfully revealed! Arms stretched wide into the drifts, creating wings of white, We make a hundred angels here, bathed in the winter light. The frozen river calls our names, a ribbon smooth and gray, We lace our skates and leave the warm, just for a winter's play. Our breath hangs heavy in the hall, we shed the frozen coat, The sudden warmth is best of all, a comfort to the throat. We sip a mug of sweet hot cocoa, and watch the shadows grow, Tired now, but happy still, from playing in the snow. The rosy cheeks begin to fade, the fire starts to roar, But the cold air magic that we made, is what we're thankful for. Jingle, jingle... what a day to remember... Merry Christmas in the snow!
