Softly I whisper your name in the breeze, Fading like echoes through rustling leaves. Footsteps retreating, lost in the night, Drowning in shadows, fading from sight. Faint is your shadow, blurred in the rain, Raindrops are tracing sorrow in stains. Warmth of your touch slips through my hands, Lost in the silence, like grains of sand. Yesterday’s voice still lingers near, Holding my breath in echoes clear. Deep in my heart, I call for you— "Where are you now? What can I do?" If every tear could turn to a star, Lighting the sky wherever you are, Would you look up and see me too? Somewhere beyond this endless blue?
