Probably around that time or soon thereafter, I would've become aware of my sexuality and would've wondered what life would look like for me in the future as songs like this seemed farfetched at the time growing up where I grew up. So, I wanted to reclaim this song and go from childhood to adulthood to show the lucky progression in my life that I wasn't sure would happen.
