[Intro] 🎵 “Ahh… ahh… we are forgiven… we are free…” 🎵 [Verse 1] We walked through nights of sorrow, hearts burdened by our past, Words were spoken, bridges broken The pain, it seemed to last. But mercy found our story, grace rewrote our name, The cross became the meeting place where love removed the shame. [Pre-Chorus] Will you let it go, will you take His hand? Forgive your brother, help him stand. Lay your gift before the throne, And let His peace become your home. [Chorus] We are forgiven, we are free, Grace has opened eyes to see. The blood of Jesus sets us right, Turns our darkness into light. Ohh, forgiven — and free! Reconciled in victory! [Verse 2] He said, “Father, forgive them,” upon the cross that day, His love still speaks through ages, still calling us today. If He could pardon sinners, what right have we to hold? Release the chains of bitterness — let healing take control. 🎵 “Be kind, be tender, and true…” 🎵 “Reconciled, redeemed, renewed!” 🎵 [Final Chorus] We are forgiven, we are free, Love restored our unity. No more anger, no more blame, Jesus washed away our shame. Ohh, forgiven — and free! Reconciled eternally! [Outro] 🎵 “Forgiven… set free… By His mercy… we live in peace…” 🎵
