Don't Go There - v3 - Directions Are Amiss

[Intro] Amiss... Lost on this grid The compass is spinning around [Verse 1] Walking blind through the evening dust Heavy steps on a road I cannot trust Signal's low and the map has gone pale Chasing after some forgotten trail Wind is whispering a warning sign Trying hard just to hold this line [Chorus] Don't go there, directions are amiss Ignored the feeling for a single kiss Directions are amiss and I am drifting far Forgetting everything that made me who we are Don't go there, directions are amiss Traded the truth for temporary bliss Directions are amiss and I am drifting far [Verse 2] North is South and the South is nowhere fast Living in a dream that's never going to last Street signs faded and the asphalt glows Following a current that nobody knows Heart is pulling in a different space Trying not to lose my final saving grace [Chorus] Don't go there, directions are amiss Ignored the feeling for a single kiss Directions are amiss and I am drifting far Forgetting everything that made me who we are Don't go there, directions are amiss Traded the truth for temporary bliss Directions are amiss and I am drifting far [Outro] Directions are amiss... I'm going home now Amiss...
