{entire song is intense power guitar chugging riffs] [Verse 1][powerful intense guitar riffs] In the beginning, before time had begun, The earth was formless, dark and undone. But then You spoke, and the darkness was still, With a word from Your mouth, You began Your will. [Chorus][powerful intense guitar riffs] Let there be light, shining bright, Breaking through the deepest night. From Your voice, a world takes flight, Let there be light, let there be light. [Verse 2][powerful intense guitar riffs] You called forth the day from the shadow of night, And You saw that it was good, it was pure, it was right. You separated the light, the day from the dark, A new creation, a brand new spark. [Chorus][powerful intense guitar riffs] Let there be light, shining bright, Breaking through the deepest night. From Your voice, a world takes flight, Let there be light, let there be light. [Bridge] The darkness flees, as Your light does rise, A dawn of hope in the morning skies. From the first command, Your plan unfurled, You brought light to our hearts, You brought light to the world. [Chorus][powerful intense guitar riffs] Let there be light, shining bright, Breaking through the deepest night. From Your voice, a world takes flight, Let there be light, let there be light. [Outro] Let there be light, let there be light, From the beginning, You've made all things right. Let there be light, let there be light, Forever shining, in Your sight.
