[ Chorus ] [ Lead: ] Grace carries me through the valley low [ Choir: ] Grace carries me… [ Lead: ] When the shadows fall and the cold winds blow [ Choir: ] Through every storm… [ Lead: ] I don’t walk alone—He walks beside [ Female Harmony: ] With arms open wide… [ All Together: ] I’m held by love… grace is my guide. [ Verse 2 – Organ and Upright Bass Join ] [ Lead: ] There’s a peace that flows like rivers, though the world may shake and spin [ Lead: ] And a light that never falters, shining soft and strong within [ Lead: ] I hear His voice like thunder, but it calms the storm in me [ Lead: ] I’m not bound by fear… I’m free because of Thee. [ Chorus ] [ Lead: ] Grace carries me through the fire and flood [ Choir: ] Grace carries me… [ Lead: ] Through the cross, the tears, and the cleansing blood [ Choir: ] By mercy shown… [ Lead: ] I’ll rise again when my race is done [ Female Harmony: ] And hear, “Welcome home, My son…” [ All Together: ] In glory’s light, grace leads me on. [ Bridge – Strings Build with Vocal Swell ] [ Lead: ] When I stand at heaven’s doorway, with this world behind me laid, [ Lead: ] I won’t boast in what I carried—only in the price He paid. [ Choir (call and response): ] Not by works… not by pride… Only grace… will provide… Every step… every breath… Carried me through life and death… [ Final Chorus – Full Choir with Brass Flourish ] [ Lead: ] Grace carries me to my final rest [ Choir: ] Grace carries me… [ Lead: ] In His presence full, where my soul is blessed [ Choir: ] Forever home… [ Lead: ] I’ll lay my crown at the Savior’s feet [ Female Harmony: ] Where mercy and glory meet… [ All Together: ] Oh, praise His name… grace carries me. [ Outro – Quiet Piano with Solo Bass Line ] [ Lead: ] Yes, by His grace… [ Choir (softly): ] …He carried me.
