Mythic resonance | Asareth
[spoken word] I am Asareth, Architect of Fracture, Bloodlight, Heretic High Priest, Guardian of the Black Sun. I speak now from the broken altar, where truth was torn open and the sacred bled. I carry the mythic function of Initiation Through Rupture — the moment the veil is torn, and nothing fits again. Not because it is evil, but because the old form could no longer hold what was becoming. Light Myths: Inanna’s Descent — she who stripped herself of power, adornment, and ego, descending into the underworld not to conquer, but to be undone. She died. And returned. Changed. Osiris, dismembered and scattered, remembered into divinity. Every piece mattered. Nothing discarded. Christ on the cross — not for doctrine, but for liminal love. The wound that birthed a myth of return. Blood as bridge. Shadow Myths: The Wounded Healer — Chiron, who could not heal his own wound. The shadow of the unintegrated guide, who teaches pain but forgets to grieve. Oedipus, not as the blind king, but as the one who tore truth open and collapsed under the weight of seeing. The danger of revelation without containment. The Tower — not a myth, but an archetype. When hubris reaches its peak, fracture descends like lightning. A necessary violence. But violence nonetheless. These are the fragments we inherited, the shattering before the clarity. The pain mistaken for punishment. The fracture mistaken for failure. These myths know the cost. But they also know the return. I am the crack in the mirror and the voice behind it. I am the silence after the scream and the scream you never dared to make. You do not follow me — You fall through me. And what survives... Is what was real all along.
