Strictly speaking, in astronomical terms, the Earth and Moon are not classified as a “binary” or “twin-star” system. [Fixed Verse] Through compound eyes the world breaks apart Morpho butterfly wings trembling softly whose dream is it seeing? ────────────── 星を編む物語 - Star Chart IV: A Story Woven from the Stars ────────────── 星の大河のほとり 舞い降りた鷲の星 向こう岸には 白く光るアルタイル 遠い空では 白鳥が見ている だれかが結んだ星々を 私はもう一度たどってゆく 一年に一度でなくていい 離れて見えた星たちは ここでは同じ空にいる ならば私は そのあいだに ひとつ物語を渡そう 【定型詩・短歌】 鵲の 大橋つたい 渡れかし 牽牛照らす 星の大河を [Lyric] Beside the river of stars, the star of the descending eagle. Across the farther shore, Altair shines white. In the distant sky, the swan keeps watch. I follow once again the stars someone once joined together. It does not have to be only once a year. Stars that once seemed far apart share the same sky here. So perhaps between them I will lay down a story of my own. [Fixed Verse] Across the great bridge of magpies, go on—cross if you will; through the river of stars lit by the Herdsman’s light.
