[Spoken word] By the time I was older, drinking didn’t feel like a decision. It was just there. On TV. At the table. At celebrations. At the end of the day. It was how people relaxed. How they laughed. How they connected. Hangovers were jokes. Excess was a story. And doing it hard just meant you were young. Nobody warned us. Nobody said this could take more than it gave. Nobody showed us how to have fun without it. So we didn’t question it. We just did what everyone else was doing. It didn’t feel dangerous. It felt normal. And when something feels normal, you stop paying attention. So we kept going. Still unbroken.
