They told me “grind harder, God’ll bless the sweat,” But I found peace where the cross was set. They preach “earn it,” I heard “debt’s met,” So I left the treadmill — His yoke’s no net. They worship hustle, I worship grace, They chase clout — I seek His face. They burn out, try to keep pace, I’m in His rest — that’s sacred space. They told me “faith works,” yeah, but not like that, You can’t stack crowns like you stack your stats. You can’t buy favor — that’s pride in hats, You can’t pay God back — He ain’t cash app. He said “it’s done,” but they still grind, They miss the peace, they chase the sign. They praise production, call it divine, But grace don’t run on human time. Yo, grace over grind — that’s the line I draw, You flex your works, I’m in holy awe. You sweat to earn, I rest in law, Fulfilled in Christ — not what I saw. They love the hustle — the applause, the glow, But grace whispers what they don’t know. He don’t bless grind — He blesses “go,” Faith obeys — not ego’s show. They post reels like “rise and pray,” Then trade peace for a resume. They think God’s love is “work all day,” But He said “rest, I made the way.” See, grace ain’t lazy — it’s power redeemed, Not self-help dreams or hustle-themed. You can’t grind grace — that’s not what He means, It’s Spirit-led, not flesh machines. They say “if you don’t move, you lose,” But I say, “if you don’t trust, you bruise.” You can’t earn what’s freely infused, The blood already paid those dues. So when they talk about “kingdom biz,” But live like slaves, that’s what it is. You can’t serve God by fleshly fizz, You rest in Him — that’s His. Religion be out here counting likes, Chasing platforms, clicks, and mics. But grace moves silent, deeper heights, It kills performance, revives insight. The world says, “grind until you break,” But grace says, “rest, that’s what’s at stake.” You can’t fake peace for heaven’s sake, You can’t please God through self-made wake. Martha cooked — Mary stayed, One was busy, one obeyed. He said “she chose the better way,” Still they grind like God’s delayed. It’s pride — this need to do, To make God proud, to earn the view. But He said “come,” not “prove you through,” Grace don’t demand — it renews you. I seen preachers die burnt out, Fighting demons they never called out. They built temples just for clout, But grace said “son, I pulled you out.” This ain’t no brand, this kingdom truth, You can’t sell peace in a hustler’s booth. You can’t mix grind with Spirit’s proof, One’s dead works — one’s living proof. Yo, faith without rest is just religion in gym clothes, Training for favor like heaven owes. But grace don’t sweat — it overflows, You can’t hustle what the Spirit sows. So I stopped striving, dropped the act, Stopped stacking crowns like crypto stacks. Grace ain’t earned — it’s love intact, He finished it all — that’s a holy fact. So tell the grinders: sit down, breathe, You ain’t your post, your work, your feed. You can’t out-hustle what you receive, It’s grace alone — just believe. Yeah, grind if you must, but not for worth, Let faith guide what your hands birth. Let peace prove what the cross birthed, Grace over grind — heaven on earth.
