[Intro] Hey Christians, I got a question, let me speak, Not throwing stones, just searching for what I see, If God is love, then explain what I hear, Why does His name get used to manufacture fear? [Verse 1] They say, “God hates the LGBT,” But that sounds less divine and more like humanity, 'Cause hatred's got fingerprints, anger got a face, And people love to put their judgment in God's place. If the universe is ruled by a perfect mind, Why would human prejudice be so easy to find? Maybe the question isn't “Who does God condemn?” Maybe it's “Why do we keep speaking for Him?” You quote a verse, then you build a wall, Turn interpretation into judgment for all, But if your faith says every human has worth, Why make someone's identity a reason for hurt? I ain't saying every Christian thinks the same, I'm questioning the way some weaponize the name, If God knows the heart, if God sees the soul, Why do human hands keep trying to take control? [Hook] Hey Christians, why you say that your God hates? Why does your heaven come with human-made gates? If divine love is supposed to rise above, Why does your version sound so much like us? Maybe God's bigger than the boxes we create, Bigger than our fear, bigger than our hate, If you're speaking for God, then answer this: Why does your picture of God sound so human like this? [Verse 2] Maybe faith ain't supposed to be a weapon, Maybe doubt can open doors that fear keeps protected, Maybe questioning isn't some attack on belief, Maybe asking hard questions can actually bring relief. 'Cause I hear “love your neighbor,” then I hear condemnation, Same book, different voices, different interpretation, One side says mercy, another side says shame, Everybody claims they're representing the same name. So which voice should somebody trust? The one preaching compassion or the one spreading disgust? If God made humanity, according to your belief, Why would someone's existence become your enemy? And I'm not here to tell you what your God must be, I'm asking why your certainty needs hostility, If your faith is strong, why fear the question? Why does honest doubt become a moral transgression? [Hook] Hey Christians, why you say that your God hates? Why does your heaven come with human-made gates? If divine love is supposed to rise above, Why does your version sound so much like us? Maybe God's bigger than the boxes we create, Bigger than our fear, bigger than our hate, If you're speaking for God, then answer this: Why does your picture of God sound so human like this? [Verse 3] Think about it—human history's full of division, People claiming heaven gave them permission, To draw lines between “us” and “them,” Then call their own interpretation divine command. So maybe step back, take a breath, reconsider, Is the message really love, or are we making it bitter? Are we hearing something sacred through a human filter, Then blaming the divine when the message starts to fracture? You don't have to abandon everything you believe, But maybe leave a little room for people to breathe, 'Cause someone's identity shouldn't determine their worth, And nobody should be treated like they're less than dirt. If your God is infinite, why make Him so small? If your God is eternal, why claim you know it all? If your God is love, let compassion be the proof, Not a weaponized interpretation used to silence the truth. [Bridge] Maybe the question isn't: “Why won't they follow our way?” Maybe the question is: “Why are we so afraid?” Maybe belief gets stronger When it can survive examination, Maybe faith should welcome questions Instead of demanding submission. [Verse 4] So hey Christians, this ain't a call to attack, It's a challenge to examine what you're handing back, When you say “God hates them,” understand the weight, Those words can build a prison, those words can create hate. And if that's not what you intend, then change the frame, Don't let human prejudice hide behind God's name, Say “This is my reading,” say “This is what I believe,” Don't automatically claim the heavens agree. 'Cause that's the contradiction that keeps hitting my mind: A supposedly perfect God through a human design, Every culture, every century, every tribe, Somebody claims they know exactly what's inside. Maybe humility is closer to the sacred, Maybe certainty ain't always something to be celebrated, Maybe saying “I don't know” isn't weakness at all, Maybe that's the first step before the truth can call. [Final Hook] Hey Christians, why you say that your God hates? Why does your heaven come with human-made gates? If divine love is supposed to rise above, Why does your version sound so much like us? Maybe God's bigger than the boxes we create, Bigger than our fear, bigger than our hate, Question every claim, every doctrine, every myth, Especially when somebody's dignity is caught in it. [Outro] If God is love, why does your message sound like hate? If God is beyond us, why claim you know His thoughts?
