While preserving the song's themes of love, heartbreak, and emotional attachment, I shifted the lyrical focus from the immediate experience of a relationship in crisis toward a reflective perspective on love after it has been lost. I also rearranged the original dark symphonic gothic doom metal arrangement with the intention to emphasize intimacy, vulnerability, and quiet reflection. For that, I focused and expanded on the already existing orchestral music.
