Writer's Note: I initially composed this song as a piano ballad, but then Lynx arranged it into a fusion jazz piece with guitar lead, and then, by my mistake, created a vocal version as well. Since all the versions were so well-crafted that I couldn't decide which to discard, I decided to mashup the guitar-driven fusion and vocal versions... and that's how this song came about. However, there's some noise in a few places in the first half, and unusually, there were some chords cause mashup I didn't like, so I forcibly changed them in the edit (Sorry Lynx). I also want to emphasize that the guitar🎸 is another key element of this arrangement. ======== Found a penny in my shoe Bought a peach and split it too You said “random’s just a start” Then you drew a map on my hand Little things, they pull us in One small spark, and here we spin If it’s strange, I’m into that Baby, take me where it lands Paper cup planet Hold it up, hold it up Paper cup Paper cup planet Spinning while we laugh it up Random, random, that’s our way We make a world from today Paper cup planet Hold it up, hold it up Rain on the bus stop bench Your red scarf, your crooked grin We got fries in a brown bag And a story we just began Little things, they pull us in One small spark, and here we spin If it’s strange, I’m into that Baby, take me where it lands Paper cup planet Hold it up, hold it up Paper cup planet Spinning while we laugh it up Random, random, that’s our way We make a world from today Paper cup planet Hold it up, hold it up Flip it, spin it, watch it tilt All our plans in sugar spilt If the day falls out of tune We’ll make music with a spoon (with a spoon) [Guitar Solo] Paper cup planet Hold it up, hold it up Paper cup planet Spinning while we laugh it up Random, random, that’s our way We make a world from today Paper cup planet Hold it up, hold it up
