[Opening with a raucous guitar riff reminiscent of "Dr. Feelgood"] (Verse 1) Sunset bleedin' crimson, dust devils dancin' slow Paul and Karen, tryin' to mend a love, let the old wounds go But shadows fallin' longer, a rumble on the breeze The Rebel Rousers rollin' in, beneath the gnarled oak trees J.J. Weston, leather clad, a ghost from high school days Football glory faded, now he rules in lawless ways (Chorus) Rebel Rousers, hearts of steel and engines scream A town's tranquility shattered, a nightmare's twisted dream Chrome and leather, a brotherhood of sin Leavin' trails of trouble, where do they begin? (Verse 2) Chrome glints in the diner, a jukebox starts to wail Sheriff's got his six shooter, but the Rousers won't be jailed Their laughter echoes harshly, a taunt upon the air Karen's caught in their crosshairs, a beauty beyond compare Paul searches, heart is poundin', finds them just outside of town A brutal scene unfolds, love's tender promise drowned (Chorus) Rebel Rousers, hearts of steel and engines scream A town's tranquility shattered, a nightmare's twisted dream Chrome and leather, a brotherhood of sin Leavin' trails of trouble, where do they begin? (Bridge) J.J., torn between old friendship, and the gang's dark decree Offers a twisted solution, a deadly drag race, you see To claim the prize, Karen's life, hanging in the balance high A desperate gamble's played, beneath the pale moonlight sky [Guitar Solo a soaring, bluesy solo in the style of Mick Mars] (Verse 3) Paul, bruised and battered, stumbles back into town Sheriff's gone, a prisoner's journey, bound for another crown Closed doors and judgmental stares, a town consumed by fear But hope flares in the darkness, a rescue drawing near A brotherhood of shadows, Mexicans strong and bold They stand against the Rousers, a story to be told (Chorus) Rebel Rousers, hearts of steel and engines scream A town's tranquility shattered, a nightmare's twisted dream Chrome and leather, a brotherhood of sin Leavin' trails of trouble, where do they begin? (Outro) [Fast, pounding drums and guitars build to a crescendo] The night explodes in chaos, vengeance takes its hold A love reborn, a reckoning told, a story to unfold… [Fade out with a final crashing cymbal]
