German hardtek is basically French hardcore after it grew up and learned some manners. Same speed, same energy, but the harshness is taken right out — the kicks are rounder, the bass is smoother, and the melodies stay gentle. It's aggressive but polite. French hardcore like Peacock will still rattle your teeth and give your granny a heart attack. Hardtek just makes you want to bounce instead of bracing for impact.
