This is a sequel to "Tom In a Tie". https://suno.com/s/zdZDN7mboZQFF1J6 And it was a nightmare to create. It's not perfect, but since more things were breaking than getting fixed, I eventually had to let go... Suno hates long songs. Still pretty dope, I think. So here's Tom 2. Hope you love/hate it as much as the first. === Tom tears the knot, lets the silk snake fall "Fuck this shit" he screams to them all Door slams echo like one big final cough Out in the street, no boss, no handcuffs Tom no longer wears a tie Sky stares back, cold and dry Now outside where his dreams lie Were his dreams just the view from up high? Tom without a tie Is freedom just an empty lie? Tom without a tie No wings to try No wings to try Tom without a tie Tom, don't you fucking cry Key turns, door yawns into beige nothing Fridge humming low, mocking, a quiet buzzing Couch swallows him whole The remote his only pulse Screen flickers hello, his one faithful result Tom no longer wears a tie His best friend glowing in the dark never dies But sends him laughing tracks when he tries Tom without a tie A silence screams in his eyes Tom without a tie TV laughs when he tries TV laughs when he tries Tom without a tie Tom, don't you fucking cry He thought the tie was the cage's throat Turns out the bars were the life that he wrote No deadlines left to chase or to hate Just Tom... And an echo... Of empty plates Tom no longer wears a tie His purpose bled and died Blue light painting him alive Tom without a tie Don't let the nothing make you cry Tom without a tie Tom, don't you fucking cry Tom starts to cry
