I’ll be the shooting star to light your way Burning through the galaxy, I won’t fade away I’ll be the shooting star, your endless flame Through the darkest night, you’ll call my name When I was just a boy, I watched the skies above Wondered where the falling stars were going from above Tonight I place my hope upon the trails they leave I’ll be the shooting star to light your way Burning through the galaxy, I’ll never fade Find the brightest star across the sky tonight And you will see that shining light is me Believing I will see you once again with me Is there something greater than the gold we hold? I’m still chasing answers that I’ve never known I’ll be the shooting star, your endless flame Through the darkest night, you’ll call my name Find the brightest star across the sky tonight And you will see that shining light is me never fade…
