I Surrender It ALL To God

V6-MINI

I've carried every question, Turned each memory inside out. I've searched for understanding, Tried to make some sense of doubt. I've wondered what I could have changed, And what was never mine. I've held the pieces long enough. It's time to leave them all behind. Not because they didn't matter. Not because the hurt wasn't real. But because I've finally learned, Lord, I don't have to hold it all to heal. I surrender it all to You— Every question, every tear, Every story I can't straighten, Every answer that's still not clear. Every person I still care for, Every ending I can't know, Every hope I've held too tightly— God, I'm finally letting go. I surrender what was taken. I surrender what I've lost. I surrender what I wanted And what holding on has cost. I don't need to carry any Of the things that You can hold. I surrender it ALL to You, God. My yesterday. My tomorrow. My soul. I surrender every person I have tried so hard to love. They were never mine to manage. They were always Yours above. You know every heart completely. You know roads I cannot see. So I place the ones I love, Lord, Where they were always meant to be. I surrender every version Of the story people tell. I surrender being understood By those who don't know me well. I surrender proving motives. I surrender keeping score. Since You know the whole and honest truth, I don't need to prove it anymore. I surrender it all to You— Every question, every tear, Every story I can't straighten, Every answer that's still not clear. Every person I still care for, Every ending I can't know, Every hope I've held too tightly— God, I'm finally letting go. I surrender what was taken. I surrender what was lost. I surrender what I wanted And what holding on has cost. I don't need to carry any Of the things that You can hold. I surrender it ALL to You, God. I give You my yesterday, I give You my tomorrow, And I give You my soul. And I surrender even hoping That surrender changes them. This isn't one more bargain For the story I once planned. I won't hand You all the pieces Then keep reaching for them back. I trust You with their journey. I trust You with my path. If someday doors are opened, You'll show me what to do. If some remain forever closed, I'll still keep walking close to You. I can love without pursuing. I can pray and walk away. I can leave them in Your keeping And go live the life I have today. Here are the years. Here are the tears. Here are the questions I've carried for so long. Here are the people. Here are my dreams. Here is the ending I no longer need to see. Take all of it. Not some of it. Not until tomorrow. Not until somebody changes. All of it. It's Yours. I surrender it ALL to You— Every yesterday I've known. Every tomorrow still unwritten, Every road I haven't gone. I surrender every outcome. I surrender every fear. And suddenly my hands are empty Ready for the life that's waiting here. I have people I can cherish. I have laughter left to find. I have places still to travel. I have love that's already mine. I have mornings worth awakening to, And a Savior walking near. I surrendered it all to You, God— And found there's so much life still here. So I'll leave yesterday with You. I'll trust tomorrow to You. And today— I'm going to live. I'm going to love. I'm going to choose joy.
