[INTRO — sung over low strings and distant thunder] Grace and peace to you From God our Father, And our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace From Him who is, And who was, And who is to come! [VERSE 1 —building uplifting strings and horns] From the throne where eternal glory shines, From the seven Spirits before the Divine, From Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness true, The Firstborn risen, making all things new! The Ruler of the kings of the earth, The Living Word who conquered death, The Lion of Judah, the Lamb who was slain, Forever exalted, he forever reigns! [PRE-CHORUS — choir] He loved us! He washed us! His blood has made us clean! He called us! He freed us! To be priests and kings! And on the earth we shall reign! [CHORUS — Full band, soaring vocals and choir] Grace and peace! Let the heavens ring! Glory and dominion to the King He who was, and is, and is to come, Who purchased us by his blood! Behold! He is coming again! Every eye shall see Him descend! Even so, Amen! Let the whole earth proclaim! Jesus is coming! Exalt His name! [VERSE 2 —] To Him who loved us when we were lost, Who purchased our freedom at such a cost, Who bore our sins in His own precious blood, And raised us to life by the mercy of God!
