Verse 1 Need a change in weather No clouds, no shade Dry thirsty desert Pray for rain today Broken, dusty nomad Dying in this heat I’m begging you for mercy Bring me rain, bring relief Chorus I need your love Rain Down on me I Need your love Rain Down on me Verse 2 Storm on the horizon Dark clouds rolling in Season without water Is coming to an end Lightning flashing Thunder rolling Rain comes pouring down, down, down Storm will leave me standing On rock-solid ground I need your love Rain Down on me I Need your love Rain Down on me Bridge Drifting aimless in this sea of sand Still searching for the promised land Verse 3 Can’t believe the weather Too good to be true Oasis in the desert Son is shining through Comfort in my homeland Peace instead of pain Sometimes it takes the fire To make you grateful for the rain Chorus / Outro Fade I need your love Rain Down on me I Need your love Rain Down on me let your love rain down let your love rain down Feel it raining Feel it raining Love is raining down Feel it raining Feel it raining Love is raining down
