[Verse] Let me tell ya 'bout a dog named Pearly (oo-yeah!) Hopped and skipped so curly She'd herd the sheep No kinda scare But her one true love was a juicy pear [Verse] Sun up high She'd keep watch yo Shepherding sheep in a smooth flow Till she smelled that fruit on the breeze so fair Oops There she goes Chasing that pear! [Chorus] Pearly Pearly (oo-yeah!) loves her pears Forget the flock She don't care Jazzin' and funkin' all around - oh my! For a pear This dog could fly [Bridge] She'd stash 'em in the barn Hide 'em in the hay All the other dogs would wonder "Hey!" But Pearly only grinned Didn't have a care As long as she could munch on that sweet pear [Verse] Farmer Jones would scratch his head "Where'd those crazy pears get fed?" But Pearly'd wag her tail "Who me? No way!" But one drip of juice always gave her away [Chorus] Pearly Pearly (oo-yeah!) loves her pears Forget the flock She don't care Jazzin' and funkin' all around - oh my! For a pear This dog could fly
