(Intro – Warm Rhodes Piano, Gentle Guitar, Smooth Bass\) (KJBeez buzzin'!) Ohhh, things above... My life is hid with Christ in God. \(Verse 1 – Smooth Soulful Male Vocal\) Risen with Christ, I've been made new, No longer chasing what I used to pursue. The things of this world will fade away, But I've got a treasure that will always stay. Where Christ is seated at God's right hand, I've got a promise that forever stands. Not looking behind at the life I've known, My heart's set on an eternal home. \(Pre-Chorus – Rising Harmonies\) This world can't hold what heaven has given, I'm dead to the old, in Christ I'm living. My heart has found where it belongs, And that's the reason I sing this song! \(Chorus – Full Band, Rich Layered Harmonies\) Set your affection on things above, Lift up your heart to the Saviour's love. Not on the earth, where the treasures fade, I'm alive in Christ, forever saved! Things above! (Things above!) That's where my heart belongs! My life is hid with Christ in God, And in Him I'm standing strong! \(Verse 2 – Relaxed Groove, Melodic Guitar Fills\) The world keeps turning, the seasons change, But Jesus Christ remains the same. No earthly riches could ever compare, To the life I've found in the Saviour's care. The old man died, but I'm living free, Christ is my life, my identity. No need to chase what won't remain, I've found my joy in Jesus' name. \(Pre-Chorus – Building Vocal Harmonies\) This world can't hold what heaven has given, I'm dead to the old, in Christ I'm living. My heart has found where it belongs, And that's the reason I sing this song! \(Chorus – Bright, Soaring Harmonies\) Set your affection on things above, Lift up your heart to the Saviour's love. Not on the earth, where the treasures fade, I'm alive in Christ, forever saved! Things above! (Things above!) That's where my heart belongs! My life is hid with Christ in God, And in Him I'm standing strong! \(Bridge – Piano and Saxophone, Intimate Vocal Building to Powerful Crescendo\) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, Every promise will be made clear. And when He comes in glory bright, We'll appear with Him in glorious light! Ohhh, what a glorious day, When the shadows all fade away! \(Final Chorus – Full Band, Soaring Male Lead, Gospel-Soul Harmonies\) Set your affection on things above, Lift up your heart to the Saviour's love. Not on the earth, where the treasures fade, I'm alive in Christ, forever saved! Things above! (Things above!) That's where my heart belongs! My life is hid with Christ in God, And in Him I'm standing strong! \(Outro – Warm Rhodes, Smooth Saxophone, Gentle Harmonies\) Seek those things which are above... My life is hid with Christ in God... Christ, who is our life... Ohhh, things above.
