The Time I Take

The quite sounds of the early morning The time before the town awakes This is when my soul rests This is the time I take Cool breeze Morning sun Nature’s sounds The day’s begun The early morning air is cool The only sounds are nature made My coffee’s warm, my heart is slow This is the time I take The time I take for me The time I take to ponder The time I take to dream Morning time of wonder The time I take for me The time my soul feeds The time when I recharge This is the time I need The evening sounds as people sleep Evening time when works on break This is when my heart leaps This is the time I take Evening calm Sunsets People sleeping Families rest The smell of evening air The sounds the crickets make This when I feel blessed This is the time I take The time I take for me The time I take to ponder The time I take to dream Evening time of wonder The time I take for me The time my soul feeds The time when I recharge This is the time I need Take your time Whenever it is Rest your soul Just give in Take your time Dream and ponder Feel renewed By life’s wonders The time I take for me The time I take to ponder The time I take to dream Morning time of wonder The time I take for me The time my soul feeds The time when I recharge This is the time I need The time I take for me The time I take to ponder The time I take to dream Evening time of wonder The time I take for me The time my soul feeds The time when I recharge This is the time I need
