Who told you? Not... what to believe. Who... told you? Before you ever opened the page... Someone handed you a pair of eyes. Before you heard the words... Someone explained them. Before you met God Someone introduced you to theirs. We say, "I believe scripture." Do we? Or do we believe... what has been said... about scripture? Those are not the same thing. Read Genesis. Then close every commentary. Read the prophets. Forget every sermon. Read the words in red... without hearing another voice inside your own. Could you? Or has someone else's understanding... become your own? We say, God is Love. Then we describe fear. We say, God is Spirit. Then we picture... an old man. We say, God is everywhere. Then we point... somewhere else. Who told us... to see it that way The strangest thing is not that people believe. The strangest thing is how rarely we ask where belief began. Imagine reading it for the first time. No preacher. No denomination. No tradition. No labels. Only words meeting awareness. What would you see? Maybe... the greatest miracle isn't changing your mind. Maybe it's discovering which thoughts were never yours. Who told you? And who told them
