[Intro - distant bell / airy breath] 嗯... 观自在菩萨… Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva... 行深般若波罗蜜多时… [Verse 1] saw clearly... 五蕴皆空… 度一切苦厄 and crossed beyond all suffering Shariputra... 色不异空… 空不异色… form is not apart from emptiness... emptiness is not apart from form... 色即是空 空即是色 form is emptiness emptiness is form feeling, perception, formation, consciousness 亦复如是 [Verse 2 - slight melodic lift] 舍利子… all dharmas bear the mark of emptiness... 不生…不灭… not stained... not pure... not increasing... not decreasing... therefore, in emptiness... 无色… no feeling, perception, formation, consciousness... [Build - rhythm gently moves forward] 无眼耳鼻舌身意… no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind... 无色声香味触法… no sight, sound, scent, taste, touch, or thought... 无眼界… up to no realm of consciousness... no ignorance... 亦无无明尽… and so on... no aging and death... and no end of aging and death... [Climax - the only spacious opening] 无苦集灭道… no wisdom... and no attainment... because there is nothing to attain... the bodhisattva... 依般若波罗蜜多故… 心无罣碍... with no obstruction... there is no fear... 远离颠倒梦想… reaching final nirvana...
