[4 bars – whimsical winter bells + mechanical clinks] In the frost of the Foundry, beneath lantern-ice light, The Otter Squad gathers for mischief tonight. With scarves all askew and their goggles askance, They waddle in circles and prep for the dance. [8 bars – jaunty folk rhythm, sleigh bells, steampunk gears clicking] Oh the snow is a-swirling, the Skyrail winds blow, But no creature is rowdier out in the snow. With their gear-powered flingers and pockets of frost, They reclaim the cold playground the Union once lost! [4 bars – chorus, big Yuletide energy, stomps + claps] Sing hey! Otter Squad! Raise your scarves to the sky! Let the snowballs fly far and our spirits stay high! For winter is wild and we’re wilder by far— We’re the Otter Squad, chaos incarnate, hurrah! [4 bars – fiddle + chiming melody] With a slip and a slide and a splash in the ice, They charge into battle (and look rather nice). Their tails all a-swish, their teeth in a grin, They declare: “Winter’s ours — let the nonsense begin!” [8 bars – second chorus, louder, festive] Oh sing! Otter Squad! Let your laughter ring clear! We bring blizzards of mayhem this time of the year! Through the Foundry we scamper, through frost we parade— Snowballs cocked, scarves a-flutter, winter legends are made! [4 bars – bridge: cozy but chaotic] So whether your mittens are matching or not, And whether your cocoa is steaming or hot— Come join us in mischief, come tumble and play, For the Otter Squad rules every cold winter day! [8 bars – final chorus, triumphant Yuletide finish with choir + sleigh bells] HEY! Otter Squad — our anthem we roar! May the snowballs keep flying forevermore! Through the frost and the gears and the storms we applaud— For winter is chaos… and we are the SQUAD!
