[Verse] In a town where shadows creep Mary cries and Martha weeps Called Him forth from distant land Life reborn by his great hand [Verse 2] Lazarus in his tomb lay A Stone proclaimed death's final say Jesus spoke his words so bright Death to life He turned that night [Chorus] From that grave He gave us proof Words made flesh a living truth Resurrected by His grace In His light we find our place [Verse 3] Mourners gathered all around Listening for some sacred sound Jesus cried a mighty roar Lazarus come forth once more [Bridge] Broken hearts and shattered thoughts Mended by the Savior's words His command broke death's tight hold Bringing forth eternal gold [Chorus] From that grave He gave us proof Words made flesh a living truth Resurrected by His grace In His light we find our place
