The Ballad of Ash-Hand, a Hero Grim: A Minstrel's Epic Lay (Remastered)
Hark, ye heroes, stout and bold, and ye who fear the night! A tale I sing of courage cold, and one man's gruesome fight! No knight in shining armor he, no prince of noble line, But Ashley, called just "Ash" you see, whose destiny would twine With powers dark and ancient dread, a fate he did not choose, When youthful folly turned his head, and much he had to lose! A cabin deep in shadowed wood, a book of skin and bone, The Necronomicon, understood to make the darkness known! With foolish tongue, the words were read, unleashing spirits foul, The forest woke, the very dead, began to prowl and howl! His love, his friends, all turned to fiends, with eyes of burning hate, And Ash was plunged in hellish scenes, to seal a monstrous fate! They came with claws and voices dire, to rend his soul apart, He fought with terror, fueled by fire, that burned within his heart! His own right hand, by evil seized, became a twisted thing, So with a saw, his pain appeased, what agony did sting! He lopped it off, a gruesome sight, then screamed a warrior's cry, And vowed to battle through the night, or in the trying, die! No shield he bore, no noble crest, but wit and will to strife, Upon his stump, he did attest, a new way to bring life... To an end for fiends! A CHARRING SAW, a DRAGON'S TOOTH it seemed, That roared defiance to hell's law, as wicked spirits screamed! And in his other hand so true, a staff of thunder boomed, His BOOMSTICK spoke, and demons flew, to meet their fiery doom! Through swirling mists and portals strange, he fought the endless dead, His tools of wrath, a grim exchange, for all the blood they bled! "Come get some, fiends!" his voice would ring, a challenge bold and brash, "Hail to the king, the king!" he'd sing, amidst the gore and crash! He faced the darkness, face to face, and spat into its eye, A mortal man, in that cursed place, who simply would not die! So sing his praise, this common man, who rose above all fear, With chainsaw hand and bloody plan, his legend echoes clear! Though lacking grace, and oft uncouth, he stands where others fall, The chosen one, to tell the truth, who saves us from their thrall! So raise your mugs to Ash-Hand bold, may his strange saga ring, The greatest story ever told, of the demon-slaying king!
